I'm glad to see Eugene Sklyarov is doing well. Last time I had seen him in summer 1973 in Kalinin (Russia). Great to know that he moved to USA and continue actively in checkers.

Lu,we missed you a lot. Yevgeniy should never be by himself doing all this...... But as you said he's doing great and he looks to me one of the nicest player i've ever seen in a long long time.

Thanks Claude - unfortunately when the board decided to organize the event in August, I told them that this is very inconvenient time that I will not be able to come, and I urged them all the time to find a replacement arbiter... Now, they just have to pull through and try to make fun in a way smile

Please help Yevgeniy when you can! And I really would like you to come to the board to be more active in planning the next event (the one I am hoping to come back for). You have great leadership talent and experience serving in your church, we really need your help!

It must be extremely hard to be the main organizer in charge, an arbiter and a player at the same time.... Great job, Yevegniy - try to keep us posted!
